My name is Roman, 24 years old and residing in the centre of the Netherlands, Utrecht.
I started working in 3d since I began studying at the School of Arts. (Faculty of Theatre)
Allthough the study was more built around drama, theatre and writing,
my focus eventually led me to visual arts and character creation.
Since then I've been working (both in contract and freelance) as a character artist and animator.
My ambition is to work for short film and tv, creating daring and original work.
For my personal work I enjoy making illustrations and concepting formats for short films and animation series.
In the end I would like to be making quality entertainment for children, with an artistic edge.

Nintendo/Kuju

May2006-Aug2006: Battalion Wars 2 (Nintendo Wii), Made all Hi-res Characters for promotional video, cutscenes and print.
Aug2004-Jan2005: Battalion Wars (Nintendo GC), Made all Hi-res Characters for promotional video, cutscenes and print.

Power to the pixels

Jul2005-feb2006: Worked for Power to the Pixels. Did multiple short animation projects. From concept to production.

Guerrilla Games

Jan-Jun2004: Artist at Guerrilla Games, Amsterdam. Worked on Shellshock (PS2, XBOX, PC) and Killzone (PS2).
